No. Propfirm123 does not use HTTP cookies. Instead, we use browser localStorage, a similar client-side storage technology, for a small number of strictly necessary purposes described below.
Under EU ePrivacy law (and the UK equivalent), localStorage is treated similarly to cookies and requires transparency about its use.
localStorage is a web browser feature that allows websites to store small amounts of data on your device. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is never automatically sent to our servers. It stays on your device and is only read by our application when needed.
We store two items in your browser's localStorage:
auth_tokenStores your JWT authentication token to keep you signed inStrictly necessaryUntil you log outthemeRemembers your display preference (dark or light mode)FunctionalPersistent (until cleared)We do not store any advertising, analytics, or tracking data in localStorage or via any other mechanism.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services that set cookies or use localStorage. No third-party data is stored on your device by our platform.
The authentication token is strictly necessary for the platform to function. Without it, you cannot stay logged in. The theme preference is functional and improves your experience. Neither requires your consent as they do not involve tracking or profiling.
You can clear all locally stored data at any time through your browser settings:
Note: clearing localStorage will sign you out of the platform and reset your theme preference.
We may update this policy if we introduce new storage technologies. Any significant changes will be communicated via the platform or by email.
